Tips for Korean
written on Wednesday, 13 August 2014 @ 11:34 ✈
when they visit SG :)
recently when i went to visit my uncle in bedok,
there was four koreans infront of me
waiting for traffic light man to turn green
however..
they didnt press the traffic light button and when i realised it,
it was too late
and the traffic light man did not turn green even though we are able to cross the road
hence i just ran across the road and they followed me after..
i realised in korea,
we do not need to press the traffic light button and the green man will just light up
unlike in SG when only you pressed the traffic light button then you are able to cross the road
i feel so bad for not telling the group of koreans but its too late anw
hope they had a fun time in SG :)
in SG we are also not able to consume chewing gum
its said that because long time ago,
people stick it to train doors and hence leading to many problems
hence the banning of chewing gum
moreover spitting in SG will lead to getting a fine if caught
unlike in korea where everyone just spit on the floor
in SG, most places or restaurant there will be charges for plain water
and there is hardly side dishes that comes with main dish
moreover majority eats spicy food or also chilies
hence you may need to tell the auntie or uncle if u want chilies in your dish or not :)
since they is different culture in singapore
you should try food from different culture ^^
as for movie wise,
there is hardly any movie in french
and it is mostly in english or chinese
thats all i can think of for now :P
hopefully its helpful ^^
