we woke up at 3+am to prepare for the puja at 4.30am :D
it was chilly and really cold :P
while waiting for the puja to start at Sripuram,
the elephant that we saw last night came :P
but it was the elephant's older bro who came haaa
it was so cute and wanted some donation before giving us blessings :P
becos it was too big to go through the star path
hence it didnt accompany us to walk through the puja :)
the praying ended at around 5-6am
the puja was about helping the goddess to shower
so water was poured over the goddess statue as there were chanting too :)
and we were asked to come back at 7.30am again :)
after they have properly dressed the goddess statue ^^
at around 4+pm,
we went to do cow puja :)
cos mum donated cows =)
its said that cows who can no longer serve human
such as produce milk or help in sowing the land,
were being brought to slaughter
however Amma will then buy these cows and feed them
when they are better,
Amma will give away these cows to the poor and aid the poor
in producing milk etc ^^
the cow puja was interesting :)
i partnered with my roommate su min hehe
and according to her,
if during the cow puja,
the cow shitted and pee-ed,
means its good!!
and among other pple our cow did both :P
my bros' cow shitted twice hehe
cow dung can be used as solid fuel
and cow pee can be used to Bi Xie
something like avoid evil spirits?
hahaha so actually everything of the cow is useful to us and that we shouldnt eat cow :)
at the place where we did the cow puja,
we also saw ostrich, white horses and other animals :)
then we went back to the guest house =)
we were told to wait as we might be able to meet Amma :P
so as we waited,
me and 2nd bro chatted haaa
i told him about how i wanted to play firework cos i didnt play before hehe
and suddenly halfway talking,
at the rooftop,
we saw some fireworks!!!!!
we immediately went to get our older bro and asked him to go with us to the rooftop to watch the fireworks
we were the first to join the devotees who were putting the fireworks :)
hmm actually some ang mo devotees werent happy with us singaporean
as they say we close the door too loudly and disturbed them
i was still afraid that they didnt like us joining them haaa
but anw we still went up :P
they put cobra, rocket and even those big fireworks that shoot up high and explode beautifully!!
it was really fun and gd experience hehe
2nd bro did take few photos and video hehe :)
after the fireworks,
we went to mei fang jie room ^^
and 2nd bro say i got story to tell hahaha
cos my wish to play fireworks came true!!!!
its like Amma heard me and wooo fireworks!!!
who will randomly play fireworks hahaha
moreover its our last night there too!!
though it may sound like a mini happening but ya
it means alot to me hehehe :D
when su min jie and sally aunt came back from the temple
they told us that they saw the fireworks too!!
maybe Amma was enjoying the fireworks too hehe
heard that on that night amma ate dinner at around 11+pm...
